Raw material – paddy is available locally with huge quantities in the adjacent districts of the mill, the mill is basically set up in a bastion area for paddy procurement. Paddy can also be procured from custom milling agencies set up by the government of Odisha. It can also be procured from neighbouring states like West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh. There is no dearth in supply of raw-materials and due to the seasonal nature of raw-materials, paddy will be procured and stored in the warehouse for round the year production.

Our Balasore manufacturing unit enjoys a strong and steady market presence across local and interstate channels, giving us a comfortable base for selling our products in multiple segments.
Domestic Market: We currently have secured orders across Odisha’s local markets as well as from interstate buyers. Our customer base includes educational institutions, hospitals, and government agencies, ensuring a stable demand pipeline.
Export Market (Future Plans): Looking ahead, GIPI intends to dedicate nearly 50% of its rice production for exports, with primary focus on Bangladesh and select European countries where we have already established strong contacts. Initial discussions and leads are in place, and these export opportunities will be pursued as production scales.
Marketing Approach: While we engage in custom milling with government agencies from whom we source paddy, our primary emphasis is on Free Sale Marketing, which provides flexibility and stronger margins.
